Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data held by Poplist at any time. This page explains what data we hold, what gets deleted, and how to submit a request.

What Data We Hold

Depending on how you use Poplist, we may hold the following data associated with your account:

• Your email address and display name (from account registration or Google Sign-In).
• Your tasks, categories, and app preferences stored in our database.
• Usage analytics and crash reports (anonymised).
• Subscription and billing information (managed by our payment processor; we hold only a customer reference ID).

What Happens When You Delete Your Data

Upon a verified deletion request:

• Your account and all associated tasks and preferences will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Your email and profile data will be removed from our authentication system.
• Anonymised, aggregated analytics data that cannot be linked to you may be retained.
• Records required for legal or financial compliance (e.g. billing history) may be retained for up to 7 years as required by law, after which they are deleted.

Option 1: Delete from Within the App

The quickest way to delete your account and data is directly from the app:

1. Open Poplist and tap the Settings icon.
2. Scroll to the Account section.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm when prompted.

This immediately queues your account for deletion. All data will be purged within 30 days.

Option 2: Submit a Request by Email

If you cannot access the app or prefer to submit a written request, email us at privacy@poplist.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

• The email address associated with your Poplist account.
• Your request to delete all personal data.

We will verify your identity and confirm deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.

Data Portability

Before deleting your account, you can request a copy of your data. Email privacy@poplist.app with the subject line "Data Export Request" and we will provide your data in a machine-readable format within 30 days.
